Prima Performance 23x18mm CVT roller weight set for 250cc water-cooled (172mm) scooter engines — 6 high-temperature composite roller weights with low-friction outer shell, engineered to prevent flat spots and ensure consistent variator shifting over thousands of miles. Available in 10 weight options from 10g to 28g. SKU: 1200-1175.

Tuning Guide:


  • Lighter weights (10g–14g): Higher RPM range, more aggressive off-the-line acceleration — best for hill climbing, heavy riders, and stop-and-go city riding

  • Mid weights (18g–22g): Balanced performance for general commuting

  • Heavier weights (24g–28g): Lower RPM cruise, higher top speed, better fuel economy — best for highway and long-distance touring

Mechanic's tip: Roller weights are wear items. If your scooter shudders during acceleration or has lost top-end speed, the weights likely have flat spots and need replacement. Keep variator ramps clean and dry — do not grease inside a KYMCO or CN250 variator unless specified by the manufacturer. Check your variator slides for wear while the cover is off.
