The slots change the CVT's operating profile; they do not add engine power. Final acceleration, cruising RPM and top speed depend on the engine's powerband, variator weights, belt, torque spring and overall setup. Select the profile that matches your goal, then tune the CVT components together. Follow the assembly instructions for guide-pin positioning and specified lubrication, keeping lubricant off the belt-contact surfaces.
