This Universal Parts Left CVT Cover Gasket (SKU 161-49) seals the left-side CVT transmission cover on the Yamaha Jog and other 50cc 2-stroke scooters built around the Minarelli-designed 1PE40QMB engine. It forms the barrier between the crankcase and the transmission cover, keeping dirt and moisture out of the variator and belt area while preventing oil seepage past the mating surface. Gaskets are a single-use item, so replace this one any time the CVT cover is removed for a belt, roller, or variator service.
