Before ordering a scooter CVT belt, record the complete marking from the original belt and the scooter's model and engine identification. A broad label such as “GY6” or “150cc” does not confirm the correct belt.
Copy the whole marking
Photograph the printed belt code and copy every number, decimal, letter and separator. Include the manufacturer and part number where legible. A shortened search phrase can hide a difference between two replacement options.
Check what the manufacturer measures
A belt specification can include width, angle and a defined length measurement. Manufacturer tables may distinguish effective length from outside circumference. Compare like-for-like measurements and the stated application; do not assume that all manufacturers express length in the same way.
If the old marking is unreadable, use the vehicle service information and the manufacturer's application data. A worn belt's measured width or a rough circumference measurement alone is not a reliable substitute for a confirmed replacement specification.
Match the selected product option
Read the actual option selected on the product page, including decimal dimensions. If the page title, original marking and option differ, ask for clarification before ordering. Do not assume a small numerical difference is an approved substitution.
Check the scooter's current configuration
Record the exact model, engine code and whether the transmission has been modified. A specification for the original configuration may not establish compatibility with changed components. Keep the original belt marking, replacement reference and application evidence together.
Browse the existing 150cc GY6 parts and engine parts and diagrams. If you cannot confirm the belt specification, send the markings and scooter details through our contact form before ordering.
